About BlurMask

BlurMask is an independent privacy tool for anyone who shares their screen for a living — consultants, founders, creators, and support teams.

Why I built it

Every presenter knows the moment: you start a screen share, and your inbox preview, your Stripe dashboard, or a customer's email address is right there on screen. The old fix was recording first and blurring frames later in a video editor — hours of motion tracking for a single demo.

BlurMask flips that: blur the sensitive parts of the live page before you share, and confidential data never enters the video stream at all.

What BlurMask does

• Point-and-click blurring of any element, plus drawn-box redaction of whole regions.
• Smart PII detection (Pro) that auto-masks emails, phone numbers, credit cards, and revenue figures.
• Blurs that persist across page reloads and single-page-app navigation.
• Local-only processing — your page content never leaves your device; blurring and PII detection run in your browser.

How it's funded

BlurMask is bootstrapped and independent. The Free Starter tier is free forever, and a single $20 one-time payment unlocks Lifetime Pro. No subscriptions, no investors, no data monetization — the product is funded entirely by licenses.
